HK-1708 was used till 31.3.91 when she suffered an inflight incident overstressing the airframe. She subsequently landed at Medellin where she was grounded after inspection of the airplane. Intercontinental, renamed in 1982, donated HK-1708 to a recreation park in Rionegro (Medellin) where she survives till today.
